Stock market LIVE on Tuesday, June 11, 2024: The benchmark BSE Sensex and Nifty were seen holding steady gains in intra-day deals on Tuesday, led by Larsen & Toubro and auto shares. The S&P BSE Sensex was up 200 points at 76,680 levels, and the NSE Nifty 50 quoted around 23,330 levesl. NTPC, Tata Steel, Nestle India, Mahindra and Mahindra, Larsen Toubro, HCL Tech SBI, Ultratech Cement and Powergrid were the top gainers on Sensex, whereas Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank were among top losers.
Broader indices outperformed the benchmarks with the BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices gaining more than 1 per cent each.
Among indices, Nifty Realty, Nifty Media and Nifty Pharma shot up by 1.79 per cent, 0.76 per cent and 0.46 per cent, respectively. On the other hand, Nifty Financial Services led the sectoral losses down 0.41 per cent.
