Stock Market LIVE on Monday, May 27, 2024: By midday trading, the benchmark indices, Nifty50 and Sensex, remained range-bound. The broader market, however, continued to rise.
At 11:53 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading 0.39 per cent higher at 75,705.89 levels, while the Nifty50 advanced 0.28 per cent to 23,021.20 levels.
In the broader market segment, Nifty SmallCap surged 0.88 per cent to 17,030.90 levels, while MidCap climbed 0.79 per cent to 14,778.60 levels.
On BSE, HDFC Bank and IndusInd Bank emerged as the top gainers, whereas Wipro and NTPC suffered losses.
Similarly, on NSE, Divi’s Labs led the gains, while ONGC was the top loser.
Sectorally, Nifty IT led with a 1.05 per cent gains, closely followed by Realty, which gained 0.95 per cent.
