BOS hires GIC investment heavyweight as portfolio chief


Bank of Singapore has hired a senior member of GIC’s investment team to be its first chief portfolio strategist.

Owi Ruivivar, who joined today, will oversee the development of a risk-based approach to multi-asset investing to help clients build long-term portfolios.

She also becomes a member of the bank’s investment committee, which oversees strategic and tactical asset allocation calls, reporting to global chief investment officer Jean Chia.
