Patrick Summers has joined the roster of IMG Artists for General Management!
Summers will be represented by Managing Director of IMG Artists Americas, Romana Jaroff.
For the last two decades, Summers has been with Houston Grand Opera, where he has served as Music Director since 1998. Under his leadership, the company has gained international recognition for its innovative productions and commitment to new works. He recently announced he was stepping down from his position. In 2026, Summers will assume the title of Music Director Emeritus at the Houston Grand Opera.
Summers has also conducted at many of the most important opera houses in the world including the Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Opera Australia, and Lyric Opera of Chicago. He has also guest conducted at the LA Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, and the Munich Radio Orchestra.
Since 2019 he has served with Renée Fleming as Co-Artistic Director of Aspen Music School’s redesigned opera program, Aspen Opera Theater and Vocal Arts.
