Derby Museums is inviting markers and artists to come forward and get involved with a major festival which celebrates making in all its shapes and forms.
Hosted at the Museum of Making, Assemble is a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness.
The last event in 2022 saw audiences of more than 1,000 in attendance and featured more than 50 makers on-site, with demonstrations in everything from ceramics and embroidery to laser-cutting, weaving, jewellery-making, metalwork, robotics and automata.
This year, Assemble will return on Saturday 26 October – and Derby Museums is inviting makers and artists to get involved.
The deadline for applications is Friday 23 August – with the successful applicants informed by early September.
