Perth will host an immersive art exhibition by acclaimed street artist Rone, supported by the Western Australian Government, starting next week.
The exhibition, TIME • RONE, will take place at the Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA) and run until Monday, 30 September.
This event follows Rone’s successful installation at Flinders Street Station in Melbourne and will feature a new room and murals exclusively for Perth audiences.
This marks the first time in nearly 20 years that both floors of the Centenary Galleries at AGWA will be open.

The exhibition is Rone’s only showcase in 2024 and is expected to attract over 100,000 patrons.
TIME • RONE will span 12 rooms across both floors of the historic Centenary Galleries building.
It will include immersive art installations, sensory engagements, and additional attractions such as immersive dinners, a RONE store, and a specially designed RONE-inspired bar space, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the RONE experience.
The exhibition, which took over three years to create and several months to install at AGWA, aims to contribute to Western Australia’s year-round calendar of diverse events.

It is designed to add vibrancy during the winter months and encourage visitors to extend their stay in Perth.
As part of his visit, Rone will also create an external mural on the AGWA Centenary Galleries building.
Cultural and Arts Minister David Templeman toured the WA Arts Gallery Exhibition this afternoon.
“The Cook Government is so proud to be bringing world-renowned artist Rone exclusively to Western Australia, which is enormous for our arts and culture industry as well as our broader community,” he said.

“This is an iconic project for Western Australia and a highly-anticipated exhibition for AGWA’s Centenary Galleries.
“The TIME • RONE exhibition adds to the growing list of new culture and arts events, such as RE//Perth and EverNow, and will be hosted within Perth’s premiere cultural precinct.
“It is great to see acclaimed artist Rone bring this popular immersive exhibition to Perth, and this is a wonderful opportunity to utilise and showcase State-owned infrastructure: the Art Gallery of Western Australia.”
